Scott Holt - Merrill Lynch QA Manager

    Stress:
Stress can kill you (or leave you very sore) unless you know how to deal with it. Fortunately, Stop Stressing Out's exclusive process - The Seven R's of Stress Release - can be applied to let go of ANY stress quickly, easily, and effectively.

    Career:
Dissatisfied with various aspects of your job? Whether it's a salary that undervalues contribution, responsibilities that don't excite, annoying co-workers, or over-demanding boss, there are ample opportunities for improvement. Together we'll boost your income, bring more satisfaction to your day, and get you home in time for dinner.

    Direction:
Are you in the job that's right for you? When you have a job that rewards you both financially and purposefully you'll never work another day in your life.

    Resume:
When hiring managers read yours are they drawn in? Intrigued? Rushing to set up an interview with you? They will be after we review and refine your resume.

    Interview:
Do you feel confident and prepared going into each interview? Do you know what skills and experiences to highlight? How to talk about your weaknesses? How to best phrase your accomplishments (and weaknesses)?

Did you know that a Thank You note weakens your appeal as a candidate ... and what you should do instead?

Soon you will be able to answer a resounding "YES!" to all of these!

    Relationships/communication:
Is there someone important in your life that you're not connecting with as well as you'd like? This could be someone in your family, or a friend, a colleague at work ... or even yourself!

How we talk about others reflects how we view ourselves. If you find yourself talking negatively about people, and don't like the way it makes you feel, you may want to consider coaching to deal with your managements of relationships, and how you communicate in them and out side of them.

Think about it - at any given moment, you are part of some sort of relationship (both direct and indirect). There's virtually no avoiding being a part of some sort of relationship - so you might as well become proficient in handling them!

    Life Satisfaction:
The cornerstones of a life full of purpose, health, vitality, and joy are self-expression and self-care. Incorporate these approaches to sculpt a life that will make you say (and feel), "WOW!"

Self-expression: The action of sharing one's inner-self with the rest of the world gives purpose to your life. The modality you choose to express yourself is secondary.

Self-care: The combination of key ingredients to a well-balanced lifestyle will result in sustained energy and joy. Together we'll make sure your life is full of optimism, perspective, laughter, engaging the mind, nutrition, activity, exercising, sleeping enough, a reasonable schedule, financial responsibility/awareness, being surrounded by honest, caring friends & family.

Teen & Young Adult Coaching (Ages 15-25)
One of Zohar's specialties is working with young adults. He passionately provides coaching, guidance, and growth tools to empower their transition into adulthood so they:

    • Develop confidence and personal responsibility
    • Become active in the direction of their lives (rather than passively follow the crowd)
    • Identify and engage their top talents and interests
    • Get excited about school/internships/jobs by creating ways to relate to and apply the experiences

"We've been working together for over a year. I really enjoy our conversations and how they get the best out of me!. Our relationship not only helps relieve me of stress, they also help me understand a lot about what I want from people, from life and from myself. Zohar really has an interest in learning about the person I am."
    Jason F. - college student

    Relationship Maturity:

  • social,
  • intimate,
  • familial,
  • professional: teachers, administration, employers
  • Academic Excellence:

  • assistance with class selection,
  • time allocation/management/awareness
  • Career Guidance:

  • career selection,
  • how to research and find jobs,
  • expert resume assistance,
  • cover letter content,
  • interview preparation
  • Financial Awareness:

  • How checking & savings accounts work
  • credit card responsibility
  • financial market basics

    And all with less stress!

In addition to working on the above in private coaching Zohar also conducts group workshops on:

  • Academic, Career, and Social Excellence
  • Career Planning 101

    Corporate Coaching Programs:

    Coaching the Team:
Employees have their own ways of navigating through their own unique circumstances - both in and outside the workplace. By partnering with a coach, each team member's difficulties are smoothed, skills are sharpened, and momentum and motivation are boosted. These positive changes enable managers to focus on guiding their team towards business objectives, rather than taking up the firm's limited time and resources to address individual coping issues.

    Coaching the Manager:
A team takes its cues about tempo and culture from the manager of that team. When managers are supported by a coach, they are better able to cultivate teamwork, evaluate risks, weigh alternatives, fine-tune communications ... and reduce costly turnover!

    Workplace Stress Assessments:
Stress is a complex and sophisticated subject. Every individual feels stress differently and needs healthy ways to respond in her/his own unique way.
    Assessments will:

  • Pinpoint stress strengths and vulnerabilities
  • Detect burnout zones
  • Chart new strategies for enhancing personal health and overall performance
  • Directly correlates to health, wellness and performance
  • Available in paper and online formats
